BOUNDARY ELEMENT METHOD
Many engineering problems are expressed as differential or integral equations under appropriate boundary and initial conditions. These equations are often not analytically solvable. For this reason, approximate solutions are obtained numerically. The boundary element method is one of the numerical methods used to solve the equations mentioned. It can be used quite effectively in solving linear and homogeneous equations arising from many two- and three-dimensional engineering problems.
